1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what your day-to-day life looks like?
I’m an elementary music teacher and content creator! I’m usually either at school, spending time with my husband and our two cats, playing piano, solving logic puzzles, or traveling!
2. How would you describe your personal style, and how do you express it through your footwear choices?
My personal style is very colorful - I love bright colors, patterns, and sequins. I love having footwear options that are comfortable and unique. Bright colors generally, rather than neutral colors.
3. What does a typical day in your life look like, and how does your footwear play a role in it?
A typical day in my life is very busy! I teach elementary music, so I am on my feet nearly all day, singing, dancing, playing instruments, and walking all over the school. I need footwear that support me for long days on tile and concrete while moving and dancing a lot.
4. What were some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced with finding footwear that fits in the past?
As someone with small but very wide feet (size 6) and wide calves, I’ve always struggled finding heels and boots in particular.
5. Do you have any memorable stories or experiences tied to the footwear you’ve worn over the years?
I always have a strong memory of what shoes I was wearing during certain special events in my life - winning a spelling bee, creating my first viral video on TikTok, my wedding day. Great shoes support us (literally!) through the biggest moments of our lives.

7. How did you first come across Wydr Studios, and what made you decide to give it a try?
I saw Wydr Studios on Instagram, and thought their styles of heels were so cute! I wanted a great pair of comfortable heels that fit well, so the first pair I ordered was Donna Platform Sandals in Black.
8. What stood out to you about our footwear compared to other brands you’ve tried?
I can wear Wydr shoes all day with no discomfort or blisters. The block heel and wide width allows plenty of space for my feet to breathe without my toes or heels being pinched.
9. How has wearing our shoes impacted your daily life or activities?
I love dressing up - but wearing heels for any time longer than a few minutes for photos was always painful because my toes would be pinched, or I would start developing a blister on my heel. With my Wydr heels, I can wear them all day with no discomfort, even when I’m walking around for a while! I wore my Donna Platform Sandals in a wedding as a bridesmaid this past summer, and I was able to comfortably walk around and dance all day and night
10. What are some of your favorite activities, and how does your choice of footwear support these?
I love walking (I try to walk 14,000 steps a day) and traveling, particularly taking cruises. I brought two pairs of Wydr heels on a recent 10-night cruise to Alaska, where I dressed up for dinner every night. They were the perfect addition to all of my outfits!
11. What role does comfort and functionality play in your footwear decisions?
I always want my shoes to be comfortable and functional while looking great. Many times, comfort is sacrificed for style, but that doesn’t always have to be the case!
12. What advice would you give to someone who struggles with finding the right pair of shoes?
I believe the market is changing to be more inclusive and support different footwear needs for different people. I would encourage people to branch out from the more “mainstream” footwear brands and consider smaller businesses as well.
13. How does the footwear you choose reflect your values, such as sustainability, quality, or fashion?
I value choosing shoes that are high quality and will last. I used to purchase cheaper shoes that would wear out quickly, and I would have to repurchase. I value shoes that are a great addition to my wardrobe for a long time!
14. In what ways do you see footwear as more than just an accessory—perhaps as a reflection of identity or a means to tell your story?
Footwear is a great way to show self-expression, even in situations where there may be uniform of sorts. A great shoe is a way to give a splash of personality.
15. What would you say to someone considering trying Wydr Studios for the first time?
They are so worth it! After years of searching for great heels, Wydr Studios are now my go-to for heels. Especially my small but wide foot friends out there, Wydr is perfect!
16. What is your favourite pair of Wydr shoes till date and why?
My Donna Platform Sandals in Black are my absolute favorite! They go with everything, and I can wear them all day long.
