Foot Width

Measure across the widest part of your foot, usually around the ball of your foot.
This tells you how much space your foot needs from side to side.
A shoe can have the right length but still feel too tight if it does not give your forefoot enough room.
Foot Girth
Width is not the only measurement that matters.
Foot girth measures the circumference around the ball of your foot.
